My journey as a fitness professional started in April 2010 when I broke up with a boyfriend and decided to do something new to distract myself. That something was a Zumba class. For that hour, I forgot what was going on in my life and was just free and having some fun. In the July of that year I trained to be an instructor in order to share this life-changing programme with other people.

Following that initial training, I set up classes in Coventry and Groby, Leicester. I pride myself on making my classes friendly, fun and accessible for all. We are a little family who support and lift up each other. There's always room for more friendly faces at my classes. Now I teach many types of classes suitable for a variety of ages and abilities.

In 2015, I became a Personal Trainer, gaining more knowledge about health, nutrition and fitness. This enabled me to help even more people make positive and long-lasting changes to their lives.

 

Having lost over three stone myself, I understand both the physical and mental battles you go through to achieve your goals. I believe nothing is impossible when you set your mind to it. Consistency is key.

ZUMBA® CLASSES

Zumba with Matt feels like a party, packed with music you can't help but want to move to, we call it exercise in disguise. Dance like no one is watching!

Suitable for all ages and abilities.

FITNESS PILATES

This class is a perfect escape from our hectic and fast-paced lives. A chance to breath and move mindfully.

Based upon the traditions of Joseph Pilates, this class is a modern interpretation of Pilates which focuses on posture, muscular strength and balance, core strength and improving movement in all aspects of life. There is also some relaxation and breath work to help calm the nervous system.

FREESTYLE CLASSES

It's fun to keep things fresh, exciting and challenging so I teach a variety of freestyle classes such as Legs, Bums and Tums, Ab Blast, Old School Aerobics, Activate using resistance bands and many more.

As with everything I do, I make the classes fun, engaging and effective. If you enjoy something you're far more likely to stick at it!
